Into the Event Medical Environment
On-site digital chest and musculoskeletal X-ray can extend what the clinical team can safely assess and manage without immediate hospital transfer.

X-ray within the ambulance
Our specialist event X-ray capability is contained within ambulance vehicles, bringing diagnostic imaging directly into the event medical operation. This is a distinctive UK capability designed to reduce avoidable transfer where clinically appropriate.
IR(ME)R 2017 compliant pathwaysChest X-ray
Rapid chest imaging to support assessment of thoracic trauma, pneumothorax and relevant respiratory presentations.
Musculoskeletal X-ray
On-site imaging for fractures, dislocations and other musculoskeletal injuries sustained at festivals and high-risk sporting events.
Rapid digital reporting
Digital images can be transmitted electronically for consultant radiologist-led reporting, with written reports issued rapidly to support the treating clinician.
Less unnecessary transfer
When clinically appropriate, on-site diagnostics can help the medical team manage the patient at the event and make better-informed decisions about discharge or onward care.

Yes. We can accommodate specific requests where availability allows. Some requests require advance planning, so please raise them with us as early as possible.
